As well as being extremely excited about opening our doors and bringing our beer to the masses, I am also excited about the SLC brewing scene in general. Not that we haven't had a lot of solid breweries here in the past, we have, and I have enjoyed many, many of their beers on occasion. Now, there seems to be a surge of new breweries on the scene. You can feel the excitement through all the beer lovers in town.

New breweries means more variety, more events, more people out enjoying, and a bigger representation in the community. It's hard to discount the monetary impact to the community as well. It's nice to see more tourist and conference dollars flowing into the city. There are a lot of cites out there doing brewery tourism and I believe Salt Lake is the next in line. I can't wait to taste some beers from some of the new breweries opening, A.Fisher, Kiitos, Toasted Barrel, Salt Fire, Canyons, and the rest that might open. I hope the beer is delicious and plentiful.
